BASECAMP Exchange

Adventure film, live music, outdoor retail, and inspirational industry talks will converge at the 2nd annual BASECAMP Exchange on Saturday, Aug. 15th, a FREE community celebration held at LoDo’s BASECAMP Market Station. 

Curated by Denver’s Fireside at Five, the 2026 event will feature three immersive film galleries with bespoke screening takeovers led by:

Matchstick Productions - the world's most awarded ski film brand from Crested Butte

Roo Smith - a Boulder-based Emmy-nominated documentary filmmaker specializing in adventure storytelling

The Female Filmmaker Showcase - presented by Denver’s Great Escape Media x Lindsey Hagen, an Oscar-qualified director and producer

Located at 1464 17th St., guests will be able to freely move between the three screening spaces at BASECAMP Market Station and discover a diverse lineup of films celebrating adventure, exploration, and the evolving voices shaping outdoor storytelling. Attendees will also have opportunities to participate in Q&A sessions with athletes, filmmakers, and industry leaders throughout the day.

Additional programming will include live music and a featured Fireside Chat with participating studio leaders on the Paseo Stage from 5 p.m. - 6 p.m., presented by Downtown Denver Partnership. Throughout the day, attendees can explore a curated pop-up marketplace featuring lifestyle brands, as well as exclusive in-store specials from participating BASECAMP retailers.

Food options such as Taco Nation, and a pop-up bar will be available on-site, with beverage proceeds benefiting nonprofit partner Adaptive Sports Center, helping expand access to outdoor recreation for individuals with disabilities.
