Between Dreams

Between Dreams is a gallery exhibition of recent abstract oil and cold wax paintings by artist Jon Koenigsberg, presented by Artist on Santa Fe Gallery. It runs September 16–October 12, 2026 at 747 Santa Fe Dr., Denver, CO 80204. The work explores the thin, “liminal” line between dreams and reality—inviting viewers to embrace uncertainty and question perception. Expect subtle color palettes, layered patterns, and rich textures that evoke the moment just before sleep takes over. A public artist reception takes place Friday, September 25 from 6–9 p.m. You can also visit during the First Friday Art Walk on October 2 from 5–9 p.m. Due to construction on Santa Fe Drive, the gallery is operating limited hours: Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday noon–4 p.m. Parking is available on nearby streets and in a lot south of the building accessed from the alley. It’s a strong pick for art lovers seeking a contemplative, atmospheric show with special event nights to meet the artist and experience the Art Walk energy.
