Cloak & Lager Espionage Book Club: The Sympathizer

Cloak & Lager is Denver's only espionage book club and one of very few espionage-centric book clubs in the US. We meet once a month at Station 26 Brewing to discuss spy books of all types, both fiction and nonfiction.

This month, we will be discussing some literary spy fiction with The Sympathizer (371 pp.) by Viet Thanh Nguyen. Inspired loosely by the life of very real North Vietnamese sleeper agent Pham Xuan An, this book was a recipient of the 2016 Pulitzer Prize.

Weather permitting, we will be outside. Look for the "Cloak & Lager" table sign.
