FirePower Productions' First Annual HALLOWOOD
WE'RE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
FirePower's FIRST ANNUAL HALLOWOOD is here! Showcasing small businesses and local talent in Englewood at 3 venues: Englewood Tavern, The Drop Shop Gallery, and The Peace Place.
Show starts at 4 pm. We have live glassblowing, live painting, some of our favorite artists on full display, and even an audience participation piece with an INTERACTIVE 10 x 10 FT MURAL. We're keeping it lit at The Drop Shop!
Then, because HALLOWOOD, we've got a Mindy Mischief ready to give ya a tarot reading at The Peace Place, on the corner of S. Broadway and Quincy. She's got the answers to your questions, maybe some you didn't know ya needed to hear. While you're there, add some color to your fall wardrobe or ask Kate about her tie-dye classes. We're so happy to have these dynamos on our team!
And then, there's THE MAIN STAGE at Englewood Tavern. We open at 6:30 with Nick Plummer and his latest book, brought to you by our old friends and local arts champions at MUTINY COMICS AND COFFEE in Englewood. Plummer will be reading from his 7th published work, THE WANDERER, his second in the "Curse of the Magi" series. Next, we are honored to present the debut performance of TWO FISHIES, an acoustic side project from our favorite little bass player, Joaquina "Roqui" Lluma, and Aaron Howell. Singer-songwriters Bella Coyote follow with their haunting melodic tunes. Then, we're turning it up and gett'n ya moving with hip-hop stylist Demi God TEZUS. Finally, we're punking out with Poison Politix with a RAWK'N show where they're also releasing a debut, new song never before played live!
RAFFLE INCOMING: We've got a special treat that's coming in HAWT just for Halloween night. At only $5 per ticket to enter, the perfect way to finish your October festivities could be yours!
