Local bestselling author Ann Claire is joining us on Tuesday, June 30th at 6:00 PM at our Colfax location to share about A Cyclist’s Guide to Poppies & Predicaments, the newest book in the Cyclist’s Guide Mysteries!

This event includes an opportunity to meet the author, participate in an audience Q&A after the conversation, and get your book signed and personalized. Photos with the author are welcome!
We will have a limited supply of additional books for guests to purchase in store. Only a book ticket guarantees you a copy of the book.
If you are unable to attend the event after purchasing a ticket, you are required to pick up your copy of the book (with proof of purchase from your event registration) within 7 days after the event date. ABOUT THE BOOK
Springtime in Provence brings flower-filled meadows, sun-drenched coastlines—and a bachelorette cycling tour that guide Sadie Green hopes to pull off without a hitch. However, the ride takes a deadly detour when a killer crashes the party in USA Today bestselling author Ann Clair’s latest mystery for armchair travelers and Francophiles!
Sadie Greene has broken her streak—her crime streak, that is. For this show Interpolation will be playing the music of Sahib Sahib who was mainly known for his sideman work with names such as Dizzie Gillespie, Dexter Gordon, Thelonious Monk, Ben Webster and many more. While his solo work as a leader doesn't have as much acclaim as his peers Interpolation looks to get you acquainted with his amazing compositions.

🤓Let's learn printmaking and create with Grace! Woodblock carving and relief printmaking allows you to create an original work of art that can be reproduced over and over again, by hand. In this 3 hr private lesson, you will learn how to create, carve, and print a woodblock. 👩🏻🎨Join Artist Grace Noel in her studio in Denver's Art District on Santa Fe to learn this powerful art form!
🗓️*Please note that due to dry times, you will need to come back the next day to pick up your creation
🎨Materials included with sign up fee:

Carving tools
Printing station: brayer, barren, glass pallet, pallet knife
🤓What you will learn:
sourcing materials
carving with small wood carving tools
printmaking without a printing press
woodblock printing steps
✨Beginner friendly? YES! All skill levels are welcome, we will find a design for everyone.
👨👩👧👦Family friendly? YES! Recommended for children 14 years and older. Risk of injury from carving tools, they are sharp!
♿️ Please request accessibility needs in advance - email [email protected]. Art classes are held in Grace's studio which is located downstairs in the basement of the Denver Art Society. There is one flight of stairs to access Grace's studio and no alternatives i.e. elevator, stair lift, etc. The main floor of the Denver Art Society is wheelchair accessible with one ADA bathroom stall. Grace can set up class on the main floor of the Denver Art Society which is wheelchair accessible, so long as she is emailed in advance. Please email [email protected] to coordinate!

Join local Denver Artist Grace Noel for a chance to express your unique art & astrology. The Astrology Art Journal workshop is hosted in Grace Noel's art studio in the heart of Denver's Art District on Santa Fe.
Art Astrology Journal Workshop:
✨Mini astrology lesson introducing all 12 signs
🎨Create a front and back cover 5" x 7" using acrylic paint pouring, color selection based on your personal astrology
🎨Create artwork based on your rising, sun, and moon signs in accordion style pages using watercolor pastels and charcoal.
⏰Creations are available to take home same day but some assembly will be required at home. Otherwise you can leave your project with Grace and she will email you within the week regarding pick up. Shipping is available for $10 within the Denver Metro area or front range.

Hunter's voice has the kind of depth and nuance that invites comparisons to Sam Cooke; his songwriting craft and impassioned performances recall Them-era Van Morrison - and like those artists, Hunter's music is timeless, sounding instantly classic and perpetually modern. He recorded 'People Gonna Talk' at Liam Watson's famed Toe Rag Studios in London (also home to the White Stripes' Grammy-winning, platinum 2003 release 'Elephant'). Vintage analogue equipment is de rigueur at Toe Rag, and 'People Gonna Talk' was recorded entirely "live" - without any overdubs, computers, or even headphones - resulting in a rich, warm sound that practically dares the uninitiated to guess its date of origin.
The fourteen songs on 'People Gonna Talk' were all written by Hunter. From the tight & right ska shuffle of the album's title track (with gorgeous string quartet accompaniment), to the locomotive groove of "Talkin' 'Bout My Love" to the hushed ballad "Mollena" which rests on a simple acoustic guitar/saxophone melody bed, the caliber of Hunter's compositions leave the listener stumped as to how this singular artist has gone undiscovered up to now.

Experience new models from Revel Bikes, Spot, Mondraker, and ALSO. on-trail at the Bike Demo Days here at New Terrain Brewing Co throughout the summer of '26!
REVEL BIKES - May 6th & August 12th
SPOT - May 20th & July 1st
MONDRAKER - June 3rd & July 15th
ALSO. - August 26 & September 23rd
Each bike vendor will be set up here in the parking lot on their respective days so you can pick up a bike or e-bike to demo on the North Table Mountain trail system. This trail system is suitable for our beginner and intermediate riders, and has some optional bigger features for our more advanced riders. Just want to chat about bikes? Representatives will be more than happy to share their expertise with anyone who has questions. Demoing a bike is at no cost to you, but please have your drivers license and a credit card to provide as collateral. Please come prepared with your helmet (and preferred pedals if desired). Our vendors will be set up from 3pm-7pm - or until it gets too dark - several times through the summer.

Comedy Works South presents Brandt Tobler performing July 2nd 2026!
From Cheyenne, Wyoming Brandt is a comedian, author, and actor.
Brandt has toured overseas performing for our troops and has been featured on Comedy Central, Fox, and ESPN. He has recorded two CD’s, Token White Boy and Ramblin’ and Gamblin, both of which went to #1 on both the iTunes and Amazon charts the week they were released. Brandt is currently the host of the award-winning podcast The 31.
He is a regular on nearly every comedy podcast you can think of including Bertcast, Crabfeast, Your Mom's House, Mohr Sports, The Dana Gould Hour, and Ari Shaffir's Skeptic Tank.
In 2018 Brandt was a finalist in Barstool Sports Barstool Idol contest and was also named the "Best-Undiscovered Comedian from Wyoming" by Thrillist. Brandt’s best selling memoir, Free Roll, was released in the summer of 2017. His second autobiographical book, You Couldn’t and You Wouldn’t, was released in the summer of 2019.
Brandt is known as one of the best storytellers in comedy today and is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of chaos from an outlaw bloodline. Don't miss his stories!

You're invited to celebrate America’s 250th and Colorado turning 150 during this special Independence Eve celebration at the Buell Theatre this July. The program features an exhilarating evening of patriotic favorites, beloved orchestral works, and iconic American music performed by your Colorado Symphony under the baton of conductor Scott Terrell, with Colorado Symphony Principal Trumpet Justin Bartels featured as soloist. This community concert is free thanks to the generous sponsorship of CU Anschutz.
This event is a free, general admission concert. Tickets are required but do not guarantee a seat.

Mini-Tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Explore the Clyfford Still Museum for as little as one penny during the First Friday Pay-What-You-Wish Day. Enjoy free mini-tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on each PWYW Day. Online reservations are recommended, and walk-ins are welcome. Online registration opens approximately one week before the Pay-What-You-Wish Day.
In 2026, the Museum will offer 12 Pay-What-You-Wish Days, each on the first Friday of each month.
Art in Action: Mini-Tours
Dive into the world of Clyfford Still on this focused and fun introductory tour! Learn about our fiercely independent namesake artist and discover the large-scale abstract canvases Still is most known for, along with the architectural gem that houses the collection. Get the insider’s guide on the current exhibition, programs, and all the ways you can engage with the Still. Engage your curiosity and imagination with this lively tour and leave ready to make your own discoveries.
Enjoy these 30-minute Mini-Tours at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on every Clyfford Still Museum Pay-What-You-Wish Day and SCFD Free Day. The Mini-Tours are free, no registration is required, and all ages are welcome. Meet in the Museum lobby. We’ll see you there!
About PWYW Day Online Registration
Online reservations open approximately one week before each PWYW Day. To reserve your ticket online, choose the number of tickets in the online ticketing menu. All adult ticket prices are listed as $1 online (children 17 and under are always free). If you want to pay more than $1, please add your donation amount at checkout. You may also make a donation when you visit the Museum or after your visit. If you wish to pay less than $1 (as little as a penny), you can do so when you come in person; walk-ins are welcome. Regardless of what you choose to pay, we look forward to seeing you. The Museum uses additional donations to help subsidize future Pay-What-You-Wish Days and expand community access.

Following Sunset Cinema's showing of National Treasure on July 3rd at Sculpture Park, stay to enjoy the 4th of July Drone Show! This special event will be brought to you by Visit Denver celebrating American 250 | Colorado 150, including appearance by Mayor Mike Johnston.
Where to watch the Drone Show:
54thirty Rooftop at the Le Méridien Denver Downtown (entrance fee required) — rooftop bar with a stellar view and holiday ambiance.
Peaks Lounge at Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center — cozy, indoor option with panoramic vistas.
Terrace at Denver Art Museum’s Lanny & Sharon Martin Building (museum admission fee required) — museum stays open until 8 p.m. on Tuesdays, offering great line-of-sight.
Denver Center for the Performing Arts — offering a number of great viewing spots from within the different levels of their complex.

Nathan Lund is a Colorado comedian who loves talking about himself in the third person. He has told his little jokes at festivals around the country and is a favorite at the best club in the world, Denver's Comedy Works. Nathan hosts a podcast with Sam Tallent called Chubby Behemoth and is co-host of the YouTube travel show Sam Tallent's Wide World. He was featured on the Viceland show Flophouse and the BBC show Horizon hosted by Jimmy Carr. He was also a guest on Stavros Halkias's podcast Stavvy's World. Nathan's debut comedy special Soup's On was filmed by Four by Three Productions and is available on YouTube.

Celebrate our nation’s independence with family and friends at Hudson Gardens & Event Center. This community favorite will celebrate America’s 250th and Colorado’s 150th anniversaries with activities for all ages, live music, and festive fun throughout the evening.
Enjoy an unforgettable lineup starting with Ninety Percent 90s, delivering the best hits from the 90s. The party continues with The Spazmatics, internationally renowned as “The Ultimate ’80s New Wave Tribute,” bringing all the iconic sounds, styles, and high-energy dance moves from the decade we will never forget.
Guests can also enjoy delicious eats from local food trucks and refreshing themed cocktails and beer for the adults.

Hosted by the Lady Selecta DJ MooreLove, a Philly-based Caribbean DJ with deep Jamaican roots, the night features authentic reggae, dancehall, lovers rock, dub, rocksteady, and island-inspired selections — warm, soulful, and meant to be felt. Most months feature guest Reggae DJs, adding fresh flavor and keeping the energy rooted and evolving.
This night is created with the Caribbean diaspora in mind, while warmly welcoming all who love reggae culture — island-born, island-adjacent, longtime heads, and curious newcomers alike. All the stuff you love about 4th of July, with none of the stuff you might not.
For the third year in a row, we are celebrating how much we rely on each other, how our neighborhood heroes past and present keep us safe and inspired, and how truly interconnected we all are. It’s a cookout with lots of entertainment. And it’s in the morning/midday, so you can still do your fireworks with family in the evening if that’s your thing.
It’s a family-friendly event with lots of activities, so bring the whole crew.
Bring a blanket and any park toys you like and let’s celebrate how much we rely on each other, how our neighborhood heroes past and present keep us safe and inspired, and how truly interconnected we all are.
Details are to come, but here are some things to expect:
• Delicious food from a local chef
• Live music
• Poetic performance
• Celebration of local heroes with special artwork
• Henna
• A super low-key chalk art contest. Prizes for winners!
• Games and activities for all-ages, including button making and sun prints, and a giant parachute.
• We invite everyone to bring in names of people (past, present, and future) who show us how caring for one another builds and keeps our communities strong.

Seventy years ago, The Ballad of Baby Doe received its world premiere at Central City Opera. This summer, the opera returns home in a new production that coincides with America's semiquincentennial and Colorado's sesquicentennial — three milestones converging on a single stage. Based on the true story of silver baron Horace Tabor and the young woman who scandalized Denver society to be with him, The Ballad of Baby Doe captures pioneering ambition, passionate love, and devotion that outlasted fortune itself. Legendary soprano and CCO alumna Cynthia Lawrence directs, with new scenic design by Lawrence E. Moten III and costumes by Lynly A. Saunders. The cast features bass-baritone Weston Hurt as Horace Tabor, soprano Emily Pulley as Augusta Tabor, and soprano Virginia Mims in her role debut as Baby Doe. Aaron Breid conducts.

Cool off in The Teaching Kitchen as we whip up homemade ice cream! Little chefs will learn two ways to make this delicious treat; first we’ll use an ice cream machine to make strawberry and vanilla ice cream and then we will use our muscles to hand “churn” a batch of our own flavored ice cream. With classic flavors and epic toppings, it’s sure to be legen-DAIRY!
