Spooky Sourdough 101 Workshop

Spooky Sourdough 101 is a demo-forward workshop at Farm Fusion that teaches the fundamentals of building and maintaining a sourdough starter. You’ll learn age-old techniques and insider tips to get your starter thriving and baking consistently. The class includes a demonstration of making sourdough bread from starter, plus discard recipes like cookies, crackers, pizza, tortillas, or English muffins. There are hands-on moments: you’ll shape an unbaked loaf to take home (bring a container). Everyone leaves with the beginning of their own sourdough starter. You’ll also get samples of the items demonstrated, making it part lesson, part tasting. Each guest receives one paired drink—cocktail or sour beer (21+), or a mocktail—with additional beverages available for purchase. It’s designed for both beginners and experienced bakers who want new ideas and better results. The vibe is relaxed, cozy, and creativity-forward—come to watch, learn, taste, and level up your baking.
