We're Firing Up the Grills with a Community BBQ Like No Other!

For years, we've supplied the sizzle and the seasoning for your backyard cookouts. Now, @fnbutcher and @oldtownspiceshop are thrilled to take it to the next level! We've joined forces with our friends at @newbelgium_foco to host a one-of-a-kind BBQ competition right here in our community.

This is where the pros meet the passion. We're creating teams composed of one local, professional chef and one amateur backyard grill-master, putting the finest cuts and boldest spices to the ultimate test.

Anouncing the Semi-Finals: The Road to the 'Cue!

You've honed your recipes and mastered your smokers, and now it's time to show us what you've got! The Community 'Cue BBQ is excited to announce the official Semi-Finals for this year's competition. This is your chance to earn a coveted spot in the finals and be paired with one of Northern Colorado's top pitmasters.

Declare Your Intent: All aspiring semi-finalists must complete the Intent to Participate Form to secure a spot.

Bring Your Best: Prepare 2 lbs of meat using your favorite, most impressive recipe to be portioned into up to 8 samples for our professional judging panel.

Food Safety First: All entries must be held at proper food-safe temperatures (between 140°F and 165°F, depending on the protein) upon arrival.

Tell Your Story: Be ready to present your dish to the judges. You'll need to share details about your creation, your experience with BBQ, and what makes your recipe unique.

The semi-final judging will be conducted by the very same professional pitmasters you'll be competing teamed up with in the main event...if you make the cut.

Semi-final judging takes place Sunday, Aug 23 at Maxline Brewing. 1:30 pm.

The winning contestants will be paired with our Pro's so they can collaborate and prepare for the final showdown on Oct 10 at New Belgium Brewing!
