Instructor: Cheryl CatsoulisLearn to customize a simple Tote Bag to meet your needs. This is a Beginner Class. No Zippers. No Binding. No Quilting. No Buttonholes. Lots of options for size, strap, closure, and pockets.Items needed:• Sewing Machine that does both a straight stitch. Don’t have a machine? Don’t worry! When signing up for the class, please select “I Need to Borrow a Machine” and we will have one set up for you.• Top stitch and general-purpose foot• ½ yard woven fabric (not knit) such as cotton, canvas, denim for outer body• ½ yard light woven fabric for lining• 1-2 Fat Quarters Coordinating cotton fabric for pockets• Optional: Big button, decorative ribbon, magnetic closure, applique’,• Coordinating color sewing thread with 2 bobbins filled• Iron and ironing surface• Sharp rotary cutter, straight cutting edge, cutting mat• Sewing tools (scissors, clips or pins, stiletto or purple thang, seam ripper)Instructor: Cheryl Catsoulis
