About This Event
Join the hike group as we head to South Table Mountain for a moderate-rated hike around the Basalt Cap Loop. Enjoy views of Denver and Golden after a short climb up, and keep your eye out for wildlife, as they are prevalent along the trail. Footwear traction may be required. The trail is subject to change based on conditions.3.7 miles round-trip.429 feet of elevation gain. Starting elevation: about 5600 feet. Level of Exertion (LOE): 2-3. Please bring a bag lunch, hydration, and recommended hiking equipment. Transportation is included. Meet at the Community Recreation Center, 6842 Wadsworth Blvd., by 9:45 am.
