This holiday season, Frequent Flyers® Aerial Dance’s crowd-favorite RATCRACKER returns to the Dairy Arts Center for the first time in over a decade! This wild aerial “tail” flips The Nutcracker on its head, taking audiences on a high-flying adventure where the Rat King wins the battle and gravity takes a holiday. When the infamous rats “take down” the Nutcracker, Clara and the audience are swept into a world where fantasy and flight collide. Instead of ballet, dancers soar on trapeze, aerial fabric, bungee, stilts, rope and harness, Spanish web, and even a flying bed in this topsy-turvy journey through the Rat Kingdom. The cast of 30 features performers from Frequent Flyers’ Professional Company, Intensive Training Program, and Student Company—sharing the stage together for the first time in 13 years.
