Experience the mesmerizing sounds of Ukrainian folk group YAGÓDY at the Dairy Arts Center this spring. With primal percussion, hypnotic vocal harmonies, and immersive ethno-drama performances, YAGÓDY's music is a tribute to Ukrainian culture. The group, consisting of four women, aims to revive and reinterpret folk songs while showcasing traditional clothing like the Vyshyvanka. Their debut album, released in 2020, features powerful renditions of Ukrainian, Bulgarian, and Serbian folk songs. YAGÓDY's music, described as "the voice of your ancestors," has captivated audiences at major festivals in Europe and recently at Eurovision.
