EVENT START-END | 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm MT CHECK-IN BEGINS | 6:45 pm MT WHERE | Sanitas Brewing Co Boulder, 3550 Frontier Avenue, Boulder, CO 80301 (map) AGE RANGE | All Ages: While many folks who attend our events are in their 20s and 30s, all guests of all ages will be enthusiastically welcome! FOOD/DRINKS | Food and drink is available for purchase, including alcoholic drinks (beer and seltzer), as well as non-alcoholic and gluten-free options. Folks wanting to order food (available at the McDevitt Taco Supply in the outdoor space) should arrive early to get orders in before the event. Skip the Small Talk attendees will receive a 15% discount on take-home beer after the event! PARKING / PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION | Venue is located near local bus lines, and Boulder Junction Station, and free parking is available on site. ACCESSIBILITY & OTHER VENUE DETAILS | The event will be located in their outdoor space, weather-permitting, or indoors if not. Indoors is fully accessible. The ramp to access the outdoor space is a little narrow, so folks may need help to easily access the outdoor space, or they are welcome to talk to event staff about parking around the back. Do you wish you could have more of the kinds of conversations you have late at night where for some reason, you feel safe talking about the things you actually care about? Bring your friends (or come by yourself) and spend your Wednesday night at an event where you know everyone else is there for the same reason. We'll be offering "big talk" conversational prompts on them to get you started, and we'll have lots of structure to make sure that you actually talk to people and that it's not awkward. Not feeling like answering a particular question? No worries, we'll have plenty to choose from, like, "When are you the happiest?" and, "If you were going to become close friends with me, what would I need to know about you?" We'll give you ground rules to make sure you feel comfortable and safe sharing as much of yourself as possible while still feeling in complete control of how much you divulge. There will be food and drinks for sale! Check-in for this event will begin around 6:45 pm. Please do your best to arrive before 7:00 pm so we can begin as close to on time as possible.
