Please arrive 15 minutes prior to start time. There will be a discussion with the artist after the film. Running time is approximately 22 minutes. Stacey Steers constructed The Stars Watch from Long Ago using thousands of intricate paper collages to create an experimental, handmade animation. The work features archival images from early silent films and other sources that explore personal relationships, science fiction, the natural world, and cinematic language.
