About This Event

It's time to get crafty! Last month, we introduced you to our activist partners with an overview of our Crafty Action Society series. Now, it's time to craft for a cause! Join us in crafting for Denver's Field Academy, whose mission is to "provide programs that connect, engage, empower, and educate young people in order to inspire enduring learning and create a just and healthy nation." We'll create awards to give out to the people and places that inspire us, provide us hope, help us feel we belong, or make our community a better place. Grab your friends for an evening of craftacular fun! Crafty Action Society is a way to bring people together to learn from local organizations working for social change and to do so through “craftivism“- using creative expression to cultivate awareness and spread their message. This monthly series meets at CVA on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. Ticket price includes materials and snacks.
