About This Event

Join Denver Public Art on a leisurely walk around Downtown Denver and learn about some of Denver’s most unique, eccentric public artworks. Why do the sidewalks sing? Why are there hubcaps on the old police station building? Why is the Big Blue Bear blue? And new art on 16th Street! The tour will last approximately 1 hour. Tour participants will meet at “Man, Woman” by Fernando Botero at the entrance to the Denver Performing Arts Complex Galleria near 14th and Curtis Streets and will be led by Public Art Manager Rudi Cerri. This tour is free to attend, but registration is required. If you cannot attend after registering, please cancel your order to release your ticket so that another art lover may take your spot. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Tours are rain or shine, however, should conditions become dangerous because of severe weather, Denver Public Art reserves the right to cancel or delay/pause the tour.
