Musical Style: Jazz, Folk, Americana Luke Sellick and Andrew Renfroe are an acoustic jazz duo based in NYC and LA. First connecting as students at Juilliard, both Sellick and Renfroe are now active worldwide as first-call players with major jazz headliners, but enjoy coming together for their distinctive duo which features adventurous reimaginings of delta blues, Americana, folk and singer-songwriter classics. Their modern improvisational approach combined with a gutsy acoustic tone and down-home groove creates an original sound not easily defined. Audiences can anticipate an honest, daring and soulful set of music, just as compelling to the casual country or blues fan as the hardcore jazz aficionado.
