About This Event
Celebrate Juneteenth at the Global Village Museum with a special Read-Along and art session on June 18, 10 am to 11:30 am. Children will enjoy picture book readings like Sulwe and I Love My Hair! followed by arts & crafts activities. Older kids can create self-portraits while younger ones engage in themed coloring. This event fosters self-love, identity, and cultural pride through storytelling and art. Admission is $5 per child, free for Museum youth members, with all materials provided.
