About This Event
Kristy Deetz will be showcasing her unique "Specimens" demonstration at The Lincoln Center Art Gallery, live sculpting from 1 to 6 pm on Thursday, January 15, and 3 to 5 pm on Friday, January 16. The exhibit will feature hyper-realistic acrylic paintings envisioning a world where nature and AI respond to environmental challenges. The Specimens, initially sculpted from beeswax and pigments, are transformed into intricate paintings, sparking contemplation on our evolving environment. The exhibit opens on January 9 and runs through February 27, culminating in an Artist Talk and Reception on the 16th.
