About This Event
Sweded to Death is a DIY horror film festival where teams recreate iconic horror movies with a $0 budget, handmade props, and creativity. Teams draw film titles on October 16, have one week to remake a 5-minute short film, and all entries will be screened on October 30 at The Lyric. Awards will be given for Best Remake, Best Actor, Best Effects, Best Score, and The Final Cut Award. This event is for filmmakers of all levels, horror enthusiasts, and anyone who loves a good scare.
