Dive into the world of pastels at the Firehouse Art Center in Longmont, CO with the "Intro to Pastels" four-day intensive workshop led by experienced artist Patricia Fabian. This immersive experience runs from November 10 to 13, 6pm-8pm each day, offering a comprehensive exploration of pastel materials, techniques, and values. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises, discussions on pastel types, blending techniques, and underpainting methods. The $160 cost includes a $65 materials fee, with a 10% discount on supplies at Dakota Art Pastels. The workshop culminates in creating a pastel masterpiece based on a chosen image.
