About This Event

Join Us at TinkerMill's Muddy Maker's Pottery for our Handbuilding Workshop Series. In this all skill level handbuilding workshop we will focus on a different theme each month. June: Planter and pots to bring nature inside. July: Wind chimes (an assembly get-together will be planned for sometime in August). August: Ceramic flowers for an ever blooming bouquet. September: Pumpkins and bats and ghosts, Oh My! October: Fall platters to serve and family feast. November: Trees and ornaments for the holidays to come. December: Enjoy the holiday season. Classes will restart in January. All supplies and clay are included Pay What You Can: Here at TinkerMill we recognize the differences in economic resources among our community members. For those living a financially precarious life, art can seem like a luxury. With this in mind, some of our instructors have stepped forward to offer "Pay What You Can" classes in an effort to make pottery available to everyone regardless of their resources. We list the full price of the class to represent the value received, and give the option to write in the amount the participant is able to pay. This can be all, a portion of, or nothing. The way that works is, students who benefit from a stable economic standing should pay full price and those who can afford more are encouraged to help cover the cost for a student who is less advantaged. Class size is limited. Please cancel if your plans change so someone else can take your seat. Class Details: Date: The third Sunday of every month (excluding December). Time: 1:00 PM - 3:30 PM. Play Clothes: Dress for a mess! Clay can get muddy. Age limit: Minimum age 6. Participants under 18 must have a legal guardian onsite. Under age 14 the guardian must be registered in the class. Additional Information: Registration: Limited Space Available! Sign up today. Cancellation Policy: Full refunds up to 7 days before the start, 50% refund up to 3 days before. No refunds after 3 days or for no-shows. Minimum Enrollment: A minimum of two students (two at full price to cover the instructors bare minimum expenses) are required for the class to proceed. If there are less than two students, the class may be canceled and refunded. Questions? Contact Pottery Shop Captain Sima Pierce at [email protected] Become a Member and Unlock More!
