The Speakeasy Premium Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at guests’ requests. This may include preparing mixed drinks, as well as pouring wine and beer. Responsible for following established alcohol service policies, ensure upscale and consistent quality, presentation and taste. This position is considered an Hourly/ Seasonal/ Part-Time Employee COMPENSATION: The hourly rate for this position is $16.27 to $16.27. Job Responsibilities • Greets guests and takes orders, processes credit card transactions with ease • Mixes and serves both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages • Adheres to all established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines including checking patrons’ identification to ensure that they meet minimum age requirements for alcohol consumption • Good presentation skills • Sets up and breaks down workstations, including cleaning and sanitizing • Takes inventory counts and ensures product is stocked to appropriate levels • Provides excellent guest service, anticipating guests’ needs and ensuring guest satisfaction • Maintains a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, co-workers, etc. • Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) and annotate when equipment is not operable • Take appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets • Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests about business-related activities, as required • Work shifts that are 6 – 10 hours in length The above-listed bullets do not contain a comprehensive listing of all required activities, duties, or responsibilities. Qualifications • 21 years of age or older (Required) • Requires daily lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 50lbs. • TEAM/ TiPS Certification (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed) • ServSafe or Food Safety Certification equivalent (Required) – will be trained and certified upon hire (as needed) • Strong attention to detail • Previous bartending experience (Required) • Advanced cocktail techniques • Good written and verbal communication skills (Preferred) • Basic reading, writing and math skills This role will have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of PPE.
